Data Scientist - KPO

a. Responsibilities:

- Complete accountability for delivering 1-2 projects from conception to implementation

- Understand client requirements

- Managing project timing, client expectations and meeting deadlines

b. Desired Skills & Experience:

- Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities

- Good knowledge of Data Structure & Algorithms

- Basic knowledge of text analysis

- Lexicon based Sentiment score calculation

- Text data cleaning methods

- Basic knowledge in Web Scraping

c) Technical Skill :

- R basic

- Python basic

- Intermediate in R or Python

- SQL basic

- Hive / Impala will be a plus

- Basic knowledge in Unix

- Excel

- Statistical Skill

- Strong in Basic Statistical concept

- Linear / Logistic Regression

- Clustering techniques

- Random Forest / SVM / Na- ve-Bayesian / Neural Network-

- Basic concept in Finance domain will be a plus

- Good communication skills - Experience working in client location will be a plus

- Possesses strong analytical/logical thinking skills

- Should have played project and team management roles

- Proficient in R/SAS/SQL and MS Excel and PowerPoint

- Proficient in Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Clustering, Time Series Forecasting and other statistical techniques

- Strong and Deep Domain knowledge
