Data Scientist - Investment Bank

A leading global bank in Bengaluru (timing 1pm to 10pm) is looking out for a Data Science professional with a Banking experience of preferably 6-10 years.

Responsibilities :

- Designing & developing ML capabilities to develop models using python based platform

- Lead development of detection process using ML algorithm as well as developing & automating Python based codes & developing scalable solutions

- Compile appropriate data, apply multidimensional data aggregation, perform profile analysis and evaluate impacts using optimization and/or classification algorithms.

- Work with teams to implement models/segments/tools into the system and to support business execution and/or analytics on revenue growth and loss control

- Automate and streamline existing processes, procedures, and toolsets & innovate new ways of managing, transforming and validating data

- Ensure code paths are unit tested, defect-free and integration tested

Qualifications/ Technical skills :

- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology

- 10+ years of experience in ML model development

- Python and R programming experience

- Experience with analytical programming languages, tools, and libraries (Python ecosystem preferred, but R will be considered)

- Understanding of advanced data mining techniques, curating, processing and transforming data to produce sound datasets.

- Understanding of the Machine Learning lifecycle

- Experience in SAS, SQL and RDBMS and Big Data technologies like Spark/Hadoop

- Experience in designing and implementing scalable ML based solutions in the analytics space

- Experience on data and in databases like ORACLE/TERADATA

- Experience in Financial Services in the past
