As a Data Scientist, you will be driving the innovation and improvement of the product through cutting-edge machine learning and AI research. Your responsibilities include:

- Applying out of the box and advanced algorithms to complex problems in real time systems and deliver concisely,

insightful analysis that can quickly be put to operational use

- Responsible for building and implementing next-generation core data science and predictive models leveraging

traditional and non-traditional data

- Data types include structured and unstructured data in multiple formats (text, audio, video) spanning multiple domains including user profile data, geospatial data, network data and retail data

- Model development including data cleanup, model building, and testing

- Collaborating with the Engineering and Technology team to operationalize and deploy the models

- Leading and grooming the data scientist pool on solving complex problems using data science

Candidate Profile:

- Ph.D./Masters in DS/Mathematics/Analytics preferred

- Technology geek with about 3 to 7 years of core Data Science experience

- Familiar with Model development lifecycle, data wrangling/munging in Python, Java, R, Clojure

- Expert Knowledge in basic probability/stats, stochastic processes, p-values and more

- High level of proficiency in Basic ML models - NaiveBayes, Logistic Regression, SVM - Classifier development, Clustering, basic matrix ops - MF, PCA and more

- Proven expertise in Numerical analysis, Optimization, Linear/Non-linear/Integer programming, Statistics, and Combinatorial optimization is a great add-on

- Familiarity with R, Apache Spark, Mahout is a plus

- Ability to write code for model building and bootstrap, test and own models through their lifecycle
