Data Scientist - FinTech Startup

Role Description:

- We are looking for a young and entrepreneurial individual, who has good ML modeling and analytical skills and who is willing to go extra mile to make things happen. The person will be involved in building ML models for credit underwriting among other business analytics activities.

- The role involves multi-tasking and require involvement in inter-departmental functions of the company.

- Build fully automated ML/AI models for credit underwriting team to process the loan applications

- Collaborate with Technology, Data Engineering and Operations team to build strong datacentric tech processes

- Conceptualize and convert business issues into Data Science problems and work on the relevant data to solve

- Visualize the ML/AI analyses, results and work processes in a presentable form

Following are some of the attributes we are looking for:

- B.Tech or MS in relevant field from top tier institute with 1+ years of experience in Business Analytics or Data Science

- Good hands-on knowledge of DB language SQL/MySQL

- Good hands-on knowledge of programming language (R/Python)

- Good hands-on knowledge of Machine Learning Models and Algorithms

- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and comparable Google products.

- Strong problem-solving skills using quantitative and qualitative data analysis and interpretation

- Excellent logic and communication skills

- Team player with good time management skills

- Energetic self - starter comfortable with ambiguity

- Ability to multi-task and handle the details while keeping an eye on the big picture
