Data Scientist - Financial Services

Job Description & Details of Role

- Biz2Credit is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with a strong background within retail banking or financial services more generally.

- At least 2 years of relevant experience with Machine Learning - NLP, Deep Learning, CNNs, Classical Supervised and Unsupervised methods. Experience in Credit Risk Modeling, Recommendation systems, Segmentation and Fraud Detection.

- Candidate should have Experience in performing EDA and Data Visualization using Python libraries.

- Hands-on experience in Python and Data science libraries like Keras, Tensor Flow, Pytorch, Scikit Learn. Numpy, Pandas and plotting libraries.

- Candidate should have expertise in creating data pipeline, should be well versed with structured and unstructured data handling and processing.

- Candidate should have expertise in building predictive Machine Learning Models and should have good background knowledge of mathematics and statistics behind them.

- Decent Understanding of Financial Services domain.

- Expert in programming language Python.

- Hands-on experience in Bigdata, Hadoop, Pyspark, HIVE is a plus.

- Decent Understanding of query languages like MySQL, NoSQL Databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

- Candidate should familiar with BI tools like Tableau / ClickView / Intellicus etc.

- Must have solid hands-on experience with data, need to understand data and showcase the same.

Desired Candidate : 

- 2 - 5 years of experience in data science.

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering / Statistics / Mathematics / Economics / Econometrics / MBA / B.Tech / M.Tech/ PHD
