Data Scientist/Engineer - Research & Development

Role : Data Scientist/Engineer - Research & Development

We are looking for positions in Data Science - Research & Development with a leading insurance organization at Bangalore

Requirements:

7-11 years experience with good exposure in Process Simulation, Process improvement, Process optimization, process modeling, Operations Research- machine learning experience

MS/Phd in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or related engineering field

- Experience in working with large structured and unstructured data including data munging, process mining, visualization and statistical analysis.

- Experience in mathematical formulation and application of optimization techniques: Linear Programming, Integer Linear Programming,Multi Objective Optimization

Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis package such as R, Minitab, JMP.

Role & Responsibilities :

- He/she is expected to leverage and advance research in the areas of data analytics, visualization, process mining, forecasting and machine learning within the context of business processes.

- Work with service operations and complex business processes to develop innovative solutions to drive productivity and performance improvements

- The candidate will collaborate with service operations personnel to obtain the relevant data required for analytics and data munging related to process discovery and developing insights for process improvement.

Implementing process improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma including business analysis of service operations
