Data Scientist - Big Data - KPO - IIT/NIT

Mandatory : Looking to hire candidates whose graduation is from IIT or NIT.

What you'll be doing :

Your key job responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Work with multiple, complex data sources at large scale

- Build predictive models including but not limited to credit risk, fraud, marketing response and propensity

- Perform thorough testing and validation of models and support various aspects of the business with data analytics

- Design, build, implement and test machine learning models and ship deployment ready versions into production

- Build frameworks to test various risk strategies and portfolio optimization

- Identify new data sources/patterns that add significant lift to predictive modeling capabilities

What we need you to know:

- Strong background in applying statistical machine learning techniques to predictive modeling

- Proficiency in programming in Python, R, SQL, Java and shell scripting

- 2+ years in using big data technologies and building predictive systems on big data platforms

- Fluency in big data platforms, Hadoop, Mapreduce, Hive, Spark

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or related disciplines with 4+ years industry experience OR Master's Degree with 2+ years experience
