Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models to drive insights and strategy in areas such as customer behavior, product development, and market trends.
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify patterns and trends, and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business to drive innovation and strategic decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI, and incorporate new techniques and methodologies into the company's data science practice.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists and analysts in the team.
Qualifications:
- 10-14 years of experience in consumer tech, with a focus on machine learning and AI.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and processing using SQL and Hadoop or Spark.
- Strong statistical and mathematical skills, with the ability to develop and implement complex models.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
