Data Scientist - BFS

Role Type: Individual Contributor (IC)

Position: Data Scientist

Location: Goa/Gurgaon/Bangalore

Technical Expertise:

Must have:

- MS Excel and SQL - Mandatory

- Modelling techniques: Linear and Logistic Regression, Decision Trees and Random Forests, etc.

- Model Evaluation: Experience with Model evaluation, Model interpretation ( Gini, ROC, Lift charts etc) and Model fine-tuning.

- Excellent coding skills and expertise in either R/Python

- Must have worked with huge datasets

- Expertise and Experience in communicating results to technical and non-technical audience using PPTs and Documents

Other

- Experience in R/Python on building and evaluating different models and algorithms

- Experience working with huge datasets and features, ability to preprocess, clean, split, and visualize the data using multiple analysis and visualization tools

Added Advantages:

- Experience with Hadoop and Hive/Pig will be a big plus

- SAS modeling experience on telecom data will be a big plus

Business Expertise:

- Experience working in Financial Domain preferably credit scoring / lending industry.

- Experience in the end to end project management - meeting clients, gathering requirement, working in a team, and presenting results to the client

- Good communication skills
