Data Scientist - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning - Food Technology Data

Job Description:

Our client is searching for a leader to guide a group of skilled data scientists in resolving the most challenging issues facing food technology today. Someone with experience building and implementing large-scale, high-quality data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions would be ideal for the position. This position will entail developing, refining, and debugging machine learning models for a variety of business domains through practical work and daily working sessions with data scientists. In addition to being able to provide guidance and see the big picture, the individual should not be afraid to get their hands dirty and eliminate obstacles in the way of other team members.

Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic guidance and supervise the implementation of machine learning projects to meet particular business requirements.

- Lead and manage a team of Machine Learning engineers in designing, developing,

and implementing machine learning models.

- Work together with cross-functional teams and PMs to comprehend needs and plan creative solutions.

- Make sure that reliable, scalable, and reusable code is developed and maintained with appropriate version control.

- Operate in a hands-on capacity when necessary.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated track record in designing, building, and deploying ML models with a focus on accuracy and scalability.

- Strong practical expertise with libraries for machine learning techniques such as Tensorflow/Keras, Scikit-Learn, and Pytorch.

- Solid understanding of AI/ML techniques related to Regression, Classification, Gradient Boosting, NLP, and Computer Vision.

- Good knowledge of using Optimization with OR Tools.

- Strong hands-on skills in Data Analytics, Feature Engineering, and EDA/Visualization using libraries like Pandas, Matp.

Good-to-have:

- Strong stakeholder management abilities are a plus.

- Proficiency in developing Market Mix and Time-Series Forecasting Models.

- A desire to establish best practices and enhance machine learning proficiency throughout the broader company
