Data Scientist

What we are looking for:

A data science expert with expertise in designing and developing AI/ML solutions.

What you'll do:

- Study and transform data science prototypes.

- Identify relevant data sources for client business needs and collect large structured and unstructured datasets.

- Lead data mining and collection procedures.

- Design Machine Learning Systems.

- Research and Implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools.

- Run ML tests and experiments.

- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into solutions.

- Contribute to data science projects, including data cleaning, feature engineering, model development, and deployment.

- Collaborate in building internal offerings to help client/company grow on aspects beyond project/client work

Must have:

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, AI/ML.

- Strong understanding of machine learning.

- Proficiency in languages such as Python or R is essential. Knowledge of SQL for database querying is also beneficial.

- Advanced skills in using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn for data manipulation and analysis and using libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc. for data visualization.

- Solid understanding and practical experience in applying machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling, classification, and clustering. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a bonus.

- Strong statistical skills for hypothesis testing, experimentation, and A/B testing.

- Good organization and planning skills in implementing NLP, and AI/ML solutions.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams.

- Highly motivated with a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with minimal direction.

- Experience with Lifesciences datasets is a must
