Data Science Manager - Capital Equipment Manufacturing Firm

We are looking for Data Science Manager with a minimum of 15 years experience in developing Business Intelligence(BI) infrastructure and analytics.

Educational :

Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Math/Statistics/Computer Science/MBA (Systems & operations)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership to BI team building architecture for tracking daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting of metrics

- Maintain KPI to support business needs of functional managers across Spares Planning and Logistics team

- Develop generic analytics infrastructure and master library based on MS SQL database that can be used for reporting across Spares Planning, Logistics team and Procurement functions

- Leading POCs to create breakthrough technical solutions, performing exploratory and targeted data analyses

- Deliver ad-hoc requests for information from established data sources, such as SAP, SQL databases, Quickbase applications & 3PL Portals

- Review data and develop visual representations of data to support management decision making

- Understand the business context of functional managers and be able to interpret data and make recommendations based on data analysis

- Develop incremental reporting requirements and maintain and manage data in line with the data architect's roadmap

- Support the development and implementation of best-known methods with respect to data analytics

Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:

- Must have led a BI team building corporate level architecture for Supply Chain or Manufacturing Operations

- Hands on experience and must be up-to-date with skills in Data Warehousing, Business Objects, ETL, Business analytics & query building in MS SQL

- Experience developing Business Intelligence infrastructure with SAP HANA & QlikSense/Tableau

- Working knowledge in Web Application Development and at a minimum understanding of HTML 5.0, CSS 3.0, and JavaScript.

- Application development exposure with Java, C#, JQuery, Power BI, SAP Lumira, Appian, etc
