Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures specific to the BFSI domain. - Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and gaps in data quality within BFSI systems and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, data management, compliance, and business stakeholders to define data quality requirements and remediation strategies.
- Design and execute data cleansing, enrichment, and remediation activities to address identified data quality issues.
- Utilize advanced data profiling and data cleansing tools to automate and streamline data remediation processes.
- Monitor and track data quality metrics and KPIs, and provide regular reports and updates to management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data quality standards, procedures, and remediation activities.
- Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and technologies related to data quality management and data remediation within the BFSI domain.
- Provide guidance and training to team members and end-users on data quality principles, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data quality management, data analysis, and data remediation within the BFSI domain.
- Strong understanding of banking, financial services, and insurance products, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, SQL, and scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools such as Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to analyse complex data sets, identify data quality issues, and develop effective remediation strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus. Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent are desirable.
