Data Product Manager

Summary:

- As a Data Product Manager you will have the opportunity to get involved and shape the Vision creating a Data driven enterprise.

- Driving advanced data management, applications of ML/AI to solving complex problems across the Enterprise and Consumer space.

- You will interact across Business units and lines, Technology partners and management to author Product requirements.

- You will collaborate with talented peers and partners to drive the implementation of compelling and differentiated data products that drive business and organizational impact.

- Working as a Data Product Manager you must have the ability to connect and inspire others. You must have sound product judgment, the ability to communicate strategy and product requirements and the ability to present clear and measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.

Job Description:

- Partner closely with other Business Stakeholders/other teams to understand data needs. Co-develop priorities that are data-driven, and balance short-term and long-term goals.

- Work with business and technical stakeholders to recommend the right metrics to measure the performance and impact of businesses; promote data driven decision making across the organization

- Translate the Data vision into a set of detailed, comprehensive workflows, engineering, Visualization and ML requirements

- Collaborate with data platform and ML engineering teams to build/enhance necessary data tools, automations and pipelines, models to provide accurate metrics & business insights

- Develop a strong understanding of the PVR business and IT Infrastructure; Identify and act upon opportunities for simplicity, consistency, and re-usability across the Data platform.

- Train and provide expert consultation to business teams, management, engineering, analytics, and other teams on tools, standards, and processes

- Document best practices for data engineering, ML engineering and maintain documentation for self-service use.

- Stay abreast of Data related technologies, trends and use of same to drive impact in Organizations. Actively recommend use of new technologies/methods of creating impact.

Candidate Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or a related technical discipline

- 8+ years overall experience in Technology

- 5+ years' experience in building Data models, ML/AI applications, dashboards

- Prior experience working with and leading a team of Data engineers, analysts, data science teams

- Strong technical background in Data engineering, pipelines, ML algorithms

- Demonstrated skills in analysis, design, development and deployment of Business Dashboards, Analytics and ML/AI applications

- Ability to gather and prioritize requirements and author detailed technical requirements and functional specifications

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate business value

- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with Business teams and engage on business and technical matters

- Self-motivated and team-oriented; able to work both autonomously and effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team
