Data Modelling - BFSI

I have an urgent opening with my client for Data Modelling-Manager /Consultant for Gurgaon Location.

Job Description:

- Understand complex accounting issues and help determine how data can be used (in connection with analytical procedures) to perform investigations, resolve problems and generate insights, in the process creating value for organizations clients globally

- Independently handle and lead efforts around conceptualization, execution and delivery of assignments

- Ensure quality of of outputs to the client while adequately undertaking project management, client management and team management

- Co-ordinate with onsite engagement teams to ensure high quality, on-time delivery

A Typical assignment includes:

- Interacting directly with clients (and other internal and external stakeholders) to obtain relevant data and other documents

- Assessing data accuracy and reasonableness and follow-up directly with clients to gain necessary understanding and to resolve anomalies

- Identifying relationships in disparate data, resolving discrepancies and

- Create tailored financial databases specific to key issues which address stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues and accounting and tax reporting implications

- Proactively set-up and lead meetings / phone calls with the stakeholders for obtaining clarifications, resolving issues, communicating progress and post-delivery de-brief and feedback

- Draft technical documentation and client presentations

Candidate profile:

To succeed in this demanding role you will need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

- 3-5 and 5-8 yrs respectively of relevant industry experience

- Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and a team player

- 3 years of development experience in SQL, SQL Server, T-SQL and .NET, either C# or Visual Basic

- Experience in using HTML, XML, CSS, MVC framework: ASP.NET MVC or Ruby on Rails

- Experience with Team Foundation server

- Experience in understanding and documenting business/user requirements and write unit tests

- Knowledge of web design principles, Visual Basic, and MS Access

- Knowledge of ASP, Finance & Accounting related data an advantage

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to build effective networks internally and externally

- Experience of working with clients / teams outside India

- Ability to travel
