Data Mining/Analytics - BFSI

Job Description:

This position is part of Analytics team. The incumbent will be responsible for

- Supporting Analytics Projects and MIS design and production.

- Interacting and collaborating with partners across global Business units to develop and implement statistical models for optimizing various business process supported by GBS.

- Liaise with technology team to define tech requirements and support development of technology infrastructure.

- Write and prioritize detailed functional requirements and ensuring clear communication of those requirements to business and development teams.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following:

- Strong quantitative, project management and problem solving skills.

- Experience in analyzing data, drawing inferences and making recommendations. Knowledge of text analytics is a significant plus.

- Experience working with statistical software e.g. SAS, STATA, R etc

- Proficient in MS Office with excellent presentation building skills.

- Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and on aggressive time-lines.

- Effective team player and be able to manage multiple projects.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. Understanding of credit card business economics is a plus.

An advanced quantitative degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Statistics or Economics and/or equivalent work experience will be preferred.
