Data Migration Leader - IT

We have an opportunity for a Data migration leader for one of our client.

Responsibility:

Provide Data Migration approach and define the Methodology for data migration in SAP

Project specific solutioning, understanding various components and suggest best fit to a project during its initial planning/setup

Standardize the data migration processes/tools across instances to fit industry best practices

Mentors and Develops the team technically for Data Migration/Conversion projects

Introduce continuous improvement strategy for data conversion team.

Periodically audit, measure Project's Health and shares the outcome with Leadership.

Connect with Data Conversion - governance, Quality, SteadyState/ Data & BI global data management groups to ensure data process compliance across all Data Conversion attributes

Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure process compliance and delivery

Able to manage a team size of over 50 FTE's across Multiple projects with data leads

Technical skillsets:

Background and a base in SAP Technical skills, especially SAP ABAP

Strong SAP Data Migration/Conversion - 8+ years of experience.

Ability to single-handedly to manage, estimate and design Data Profiling/De-duping/Cleansing/Master Data Governance solutions across multiple SAP instances - 6+ years

Experience of Architecting Data Services (BODS) Landscape and Solutions for large corporations and implementations. Strong hands on BODS experience to be able govern the coding of third party partners and provide innovative solutions - 3+ years of experience

Experienced working in a BODS/Data Conversion development environment & able to provide thought leadership around strategic direction for best practice & upgrade coordination

Strong Understanding of SAP ERP systems and different modules - 5+ years

Extensive experience in developing and deploying technical architecture & code level best practice in data conversion
