Data Management Specialist - Consulting Firm

We are seeking a Data Management Specialist (DMS) to drive the adoption of data stewardship with the organizational CRM tool, NetSuite. They will work directly for the Data Manager (DM) to help realize data stewardship, data validation, data workflow, and enhanced reporting capabilities within the enterprise. The DMS will work closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and various other service lines, to build out and develop enhanced processes and reporting that helps our internal partners drive the business forward.

The goal is to ensure that information flows accurately, timely, and securely.

Responsibilities:

- Act as a liaison for the Data Manager as well as support day-to-day operations.

- Support development, enhancement and maintenance of multiple datasets.

- Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy and reasonableness

- Interact with customers and other teams to obtain data requirements for new and existing applications

- Partner with business groups and IT to implement enhancements to workflow and process within CRM tool

- Work closely with Marketing and Operations to ensure reports are being utilized by field teams and provide pertinent information that can be used to manage the business

- Audit data on a regular basis and ensure data integrity; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually

- Maintains error log, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually

- Develop process improvements for data management activities.

- Perform data analysis using statistical tools.

- Identify and correct data entry errors and address any issues, questions and problems in accurate and timely manner

- Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)

- Devising and implementing efficient and procedures for data management and stewardship with attention to all technical aspects

- Create a database for storing data dictionaries and troubleshooting problems.

- Work with internal teams to identify needs and recommend solutions

- After data stewardship program is in place, will monitor, maintain, and validate data with SMEs

- Maintains error log,

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboard management

- 2 to 3 years of experience with CRM application, and data validation preferred, NetSuite a plus

- Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies

- Experience working with marketing, business, finance, and information technology
