Product pricing- Quarterly review of the market and pricing of the portfolio accordingly to be competitive in the market.
Risk Modelling- Identification of the product segments which are profitable and otherwise. Taking appropriate actions in line with organization's target.
Portfolio management- Overall motor portfolio management.
- Design and development of new product offerings for Motor product.
- Business strategy along with sales heads for maintaining profitable product growth
- Liaison with Motor UW team for various business proposals and approvals.
- Driving business for profitable LOB
- Annual Budget Planning for Retail team keeping in mind the overall targeted profitability.
- Channel level tracking for the identified channels to ensure the achievement of targeted numbers with requisite profitability.
- Claims- Regular meetings with the claims team to ensure we are competitive at the claims and overall service experience of the end customers.
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies' market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales, and methods of operation
- Conduct regular need gap analysis and research to enhance product offerings of the company
- Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties research and implement best practices
Requirements and skills:
- MBA from a Tier 1/Tier 2 Institution
- Min 3 to 4 years of Data Intelligence, Analytics and PnL role
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of statistical packages (R, SAS, Power BI, Tableau etc), databases and MS Office
- Knowledge on Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen is a plus
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
