Data Governance Steward - Shared Services

This opportunity is with Shared Services (IT) Vertical of a Multinational Company into Personal Care Products.

As a Data Steward, you would:

- Build, implement, and oversee Data Governance Policy and data management strategies, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the organization.

- Foster a mindset of continuous improvement, act as a Subject Matter Expert for Master Data, take ownership of master data integrity in key systems, and assist in the definition and application of data standards and guidelines.

- Ensure continuous data quality and data standards compliance across the enterprise. Implement and monitor internal controls.

- Work with a combination of Custom-built tools, SAP MDG, Microsoft SQL or any similar tool, and Microsoft Office tools.

- Provide active improvement ideas to the tools created for centralized data services.

- Work and communicate internally with other team members but also represent the organization's centralized data services externally with customers.

Your Profile:

- University master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.

- Intercultural competence and fluent English communication skills spoken and written; further languages are welcome.

- Experience working in the role of a data steward for a minimum of 3 years, ideally for a medium to large financial services organization.

- Hands-on experience with data management tools such as such as, SAP MDG, SQL, Python or R for data analysis, Power BI, QlikView and other lineage or data quality tools would be a nice to have.

- A change agent; Able to drive and demonstrate progress with a view on E2E Process and Know-How in P2P, O2C and R2R.

- Project management and Change management qualification or proven track record of successfully delivering added value to complex projects.

- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
