Data Governance Role - Data Quality - BFS

- Good understand about the Data Management Framework and able to relate to all verticals (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Privacy, Data Security, Data Ethics etc.) within Data Management Charter.

- Establishes the principles for the identification, design and implementation of data quality controls, metrics and reporting as well as remediation of data quality issues.

- Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes.

- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls.

- Establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities.

- Data cleansing - identifying, assessing and resolving any data quality issue.

- Delivering periodic global data quality scores through extraction, preparation and processing customer, connected party, Account-Product level data from multiple data sources.

- Closely working with the Data Governor and Data Steward for process/project related activities.

- Addressing the root cause of data inconsistencies and recommending improvements.

- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.

- Ensuring that the stakeholders have access to complete and accurate information to support decision making.

- Measuring and reporting to management on the progress of data quality improvement.

- Developing data quality best practice guidelines and providing user training.

- Understand the Global Data Quality framework, including Data Quality Measurement & Reporting (DQMR) and Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM).

- Liaise with Business stakeholders to document data quality requirements, including Data Quality Rule metadata and Application metadata.

- Liaise with Business stakeholders to draft, refine, and submit data quality metrics to be ingested onto the Global Wholesale Data Quality Dashboard.

- Liaise with IT/Analytics stakeholders to build, test, and implement Data Quality Rules in the Wholesale data lake environment.

- Capture dashboard requirements/requests, transform into discrete tasks in JIRA, and report regularly on task status, blockers/obstacles, questions, etc.

- On an ad-hoc basis, build and test new functionality/capabilities on the UAT Dashboard.

- After final approval from testers, implement new functionality on the PROD Dashboard.

- Communicate Dashboard status (downtime, blackouts, issues) and Dashboard updates (monthly refreshes, new functionality, testing opportunities) to the Global Wholesale DQ community.
