Data Governance Analyst - BFS

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plan & communicate with business stakeholders and elicit metadata from data stewards & analysts

- Promote a culture of Data Literacy within the Bank thus assisting in data monetization

- Ensure efficiency of toll-gate process to ensure data across its lifecycle is well managed

- Single point of contact to ensure all dimensions of data management including platform governance, data quality, metadata can be discussed and enforced in business divisions.

- Execute standard on boarding of technical and business metadata into custom / Product environments, ensuring the population of data lineage and linkage between the technical and business metadata.

- Develop & Maintain inventory of the enterprise data. Facilitate the development and implementation of Data Protection, Data quality standards across the enterprise.

- Perform data load and mappings from source systems as the scope of quality information increase across the enterprise

- Participate in the development and implementation of enterprise data Governance standards while assessing, monitoring and directing data management division

- Work closely with Business and IT functions to design and implement major pillars of Data Governance.
