Data Engineer - IT

Mandatory Skills:

- Minimum 3 years of experience with python programming

- Minimum 2 years of experience in SQL, Bash Scripting (UNIX/LINUX), and in pandas/pySpark

- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to details

- Good knowledge of data structures, and algorithms with complexities

- Understanding of statistical concepts, and exposure to C/C++ programming language

- Experience in team handling with proven leadership skills

- Self-disciplined, proactive, and possess good verbal and written communication skills

Secondary Skills:

- Knowledge of time-series models is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist with onboarding a large catalog of datasets

- Assist with Cleaning and normalizing the datasets for downstream teams

- Create analysis reports such as alpha models, fundamentals, relations, news, social media, etc.

- Maintain the scripts and codes to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

- Assist on ad-hoc projects related to exploratory analysis, maintenance, and validation of existing frameworks.

- Monitor team performance
