Job Description :

Data Center Transition/Transformation Expert :

The Data Center Transition Expert will be responsible for developing the end to end transition/transformation architecture including the high level and the low level design.

The key responsibilities include the following :

- Discovery of the environment using various tools and templates

- Knowledge of workload migration tools from VMware, PlateSpin and Cristie

- Move Group analysis, detail designing and cutover to production. Assessment of the environment and the development of transition/transformation strategy

- Design of the transition/transformation architecture

- Migration communication and stakeholder management

The candidate must possess the following skills :

- Experienced in designing solutions using technology components such as servers (Enterprise/Midrange/Wintel/Linux), storage (Enterprise class), LAN/WAN and Security.

- Experienced in designing services such as Iaas, PaaS, StaaS, DbaaS, MwaaS etc.

- Proven experience in the development of strategy and design of large migrations and transformations consisting of multiple technology components.

- Experienced in service management tools.

- TOGAF or other industry standard architecture framework certifications

- ITIL Certification
