Data Architect - Pharma/Healthcare

Job Description :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems or equivalent work experience - +10 years of experience in Information Technology

- Proven in depth knowledge of the cloud environment, its methodologies, and processes. This includes the technologies Amazon Web Services (AWS), GitHub, CI/CD, API and Microservice concepts, SQL, and Python.

- 5 - 8 years of experience around must have Built Data Lake Solutions on the AWS, widely used AWS Services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, Code pipeline, Secret Manager)

- Minimum 3 years of experience in the design, data modeling creation, and management of large datasets/data models

- Has an expert level understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) including VPC, IAM, EC2, Glue, Aurora DB, Redshift, Lambda, Step functions Athena and AWS Code Pipeline, Cloud formation, Airflow.

- Architecting and building out a new multi - tenant, serverless in environment in AWS Lambda and solutioning using services like S3, EBS, EFS, Route 53 etc.

- Strong knowledge using AWS etc. services and recommending best practices.

- Serving in a technical lead and advisory capacity for all areas related to AWS.

- Experience in estimating and sizing of projects based on agreed architecture.

- Working with multiple internal IT organizations or external suppliers, virtually and across different geographies.

- Experience working in the agile methodology.

- Experience with development of cloud applications. This includes coding standards, programming, code reviews, source management (GitHub),

- Experience with Incident and Problem management processes, tools, and techniques

- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology areas (Strong learning agility)

- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and investigative skills

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications :

- Experience working in Azure, Power BI

- Experience working in regulated environments and with internal systems quality policies and procedures-

- Experience in working in Scrum - agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management (GITHUB), build processes.

- Knowledge of the data architectures associated with information integration, data visualization, & data warehousing-

- Experience in development and deployment on cloud infrastructure

- Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience

- Early drug discovery industry experience.

- Experience with Sales & Marketing Business processes & systems

- Defining best practices and developing technical standards, design principals, best practices, and frameworks

- Business Intelligence Certifications

- Technical curiosity and desire to innovate.
