Data Architect - IT

This is a hands-on role, the candidate will be hands-on with programming, SQL, cloud you will be required to architect, design and build our big data pipelines. The candidate is expected to bring extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (Kinesis streams, EMR, Redshift), Spark and other Big Data processing frameworks and technologies as well as advanced knowledge of RDBS and Data Warehousing solutions.

Requirements

- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Should have worked as Data Architect before with significant experience in that role

- Should have significant experience on cloud - AWS or Google

- Should hold cloud certifications

- Should have 5+ years overall experience

- Extensive experience in AWS, certification will be a bonus.

- You have in-depth knowledge of data architecture data modelling and database design best practice.

- In depth knowledge of both OLAP and OLTP systems.

- Hands on experience in big data migrations and data warehousing.

- Knowledge of data governance and data quality strategies.

- Understanding of a range of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL
