The CMB Analytics Centre of Excellence in Kolkata/Bangalore provides analytical solutions & Information management to various HSBC CMB portfolios ranging from Micro/Small to Mid-market companies across the globe. CMB Analytics Team's focus is on using logical thought process and relevant statistical techniques to understand and analyses product portfolio metrics and risk behavior to arrive at value-based optimum decisions.

Analytical work ranges from

- Provide analytical support to Data Quality Analysis, Segmentation, Threshold Setting

- Trend Analysis and Dashboard Creation based on Visualization technique

- Data Implementation Checks and Quality Assurance

- Develop Statistical models and data frameworks

Job skills required

- 5+ years of proven data management/information management experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.

- 4 year Bachelor's or Master's degree from reputed university in Maths/ Stat or other numerical discipline. Concentration on Computers, Science or other fields such as engineering.

- Familiarity with analytic systems with basic SQL skills. Strong Microsoft suite skills. 

- Strong SAS/Alteryx/R/Python/BDL Concepts knowledge.

- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented. Understand basic data quality management principles.

- Good communication skills in both written and spoken. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas. Experience in managing a team with multiple stakeholder is preferred.

- Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success.

- Independent worker with high drive and can support Global teams with demanding work hours
