- With massive volumes of data available inside and outside companies, Data Analytics technologies is fundamental to change the way we audit.

- Data Analytics and its use in audit is bound to have dramatic impact on enhancing productivity, audit quality and value added insights.

- We are looking for individuals who would be interested to enhance their experience by working for, contributing to enhancing our footprint pan India in an analytics driven audit.

- This position will apply strong project management skills and working knowledge of data analytics tools across a diverse section of clients and industry.

- The individual will be responsible for building capabilities on analytics, get exposed to the latest skills and support /assist the audit teams in application of analytics.

ABOUT VACANCY

Audit Innovation Centre (AIC) teams will provide assistance to enable audit teams to mitigate risk, improve performance, and create value through deployment of Technology and D&A Routines.

There are a suite of Data Analytics tools which are available and others in the process of development.

At AIC we will have first-hand experience in implementing these tools at clients, enable teams to understand and focus on outliers and provide solutions.

These tools in-turn will enable teams to perform an efficient and robust audit, thereby increasing the quality in audit.

Members of the AIC will be able to learn from exposure and get familiar with various tools and thus enabling one to lead one / more of the technology suite of tools for audit or engage in the delivery of a solution to a client with a tool that you are familiar with.

This will help build your career and progression within the organization.

SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Prior Work experience/ Proficiency in the following is preferred:

- Experience with D&A in general ledger analytics / sub-ledger analytics.

- Experience with data visualization tools such as MS Power BI

- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel is required

- Experience in Alteryx will help but not necessary

- Experience of managing and implementing data and analytics in audit

- Excellent knowledge of the financial reporting processes, audit quality and methodology

- A self-starter with the ability to learn fast and apply them in projects

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written, to clearly communicate solutions and recommendations to Engagement Teams and Client

- Ability to multi-task

- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITES :

- Be a functional liaison between the Engagement team and developer for translating the requirements and interpreting the results and iterate the process

- Perform testing of the results in an agile environment

- Identifying key audit risk areas and development of routines addressing such risk

- Review testing performed by others and deployment of routines to Audit clients post Software audit tool accreditation

- Effectively engage with AIC Team / Engagement Team in discussions related to project delivery and provide new perspectives / insights on the deliveries

- Manage teams to support ongoing engagements in execution of data analytics:

- Perform in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis and summarization of complex transactional data

- Monitor performance of team members and provide constant guidance, constructive feedback and opportunities to explore new areas

THE CANDIDATE :

- Have 4 years + experience in data & analytics in audit

- Have strong analytical skills, soft skills like inter personal, team and communication skills both verbal and written
