Responsibilities :
- Work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- Be responsible for scaling our analytics capability across all internal disciplines and guide our strategic direction in regards to analytics
- Organise and analyse large, diverse data sets across multiple platforms
- Identify key insights and leverage them to inform and influence product strategy
- Technical Interactions with the vendors or partners in a technical capacity for scope/ approach & deliverable.
- Develops proof of concept to prove or disprove the validity of the concept
- Working with all parts of the business to identify analytical requirements and formalise an approach for reliable, relevant, accurate, efficient reporting on those requirements
- Designing and implementing advanced statistical testing for customised problem solving
- Deliver concise verbal and written explanations of analyses to senior management that elevate findings into strategic recommendations.
Requirements :
- Excellent analytics, logical, problem-solving and numerical skills
- Preferred from Retail or ecommerce background.
- Candidates with 2-5 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics / Business Analytics
- Prior experience in data analytic tools & delivering presentations
- Thorough querying skills on SQL or No-SQL databases
- Experience with ETL processes and Warehousing is good to have
- Knowledge of at least one data analysis platform: Metabase / Tableau / Looker / SQL
- Ability to put forth complex ideas easily via oral or written communication
- Expertise in Data Mining, Statistical Analysis, Regression, Segmentation, Time Series Forecasting, and modeling.
- Knowledge of at least one data analysis platform: Metabase / Tableau / Looker / SQL is mandatory.
