RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide qualitative and quantitative research used to evaluate market conditions and new geography initiatives.
- Run queries on own data (SAP Business Object) and perform analysis to support decision making process.
- Analyse inputs to thoroughly understand the competitive landscape. Support the creation of recommendations and the availability and accessibility of internal market intelligence.
- Plan and coordinate Market Intelligence initiatives guiding multiple resources to design and execute reports which draw upon multiple data sources, identify growth opportunities, competitor offerings and product performance.
- To map the entire competition from the perspective of resources, offerings, pricing, positioning of offerings, customer base, CRM initiatives, etc.
- Drive deep consumer/customer understanding and ensure all marketing projects are designed with the customer standpoint.
- Develop and maintain reporting databases required by various functions in the organization such as Sales, Marketing, Marketing Accounts, Strategy, and others
- Provide frameworks to scan existing / potential markets to formulate marketing strategies, provide go no-go decision criteria.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Candidate must have prior experience in analytics domain.
- Experience with statistical analysis and relational databases.
- Experience with database reporting tools required (SAP - BIBO).
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Access required.
- Project Management skills including the ability to coordinate activities among various departments and work independently to meet timelines.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of available data sources for competitive intelligence gathering.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving ability required.
- Numerate, analytical, high attention to detail, able to prioritize.
