Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst with 1-2 years of experience in data management within the finance, capital markets, or trading sectors. The ideal candidate must have strong proficiency in VBA, Python (coding is a mandate), and Power BI. This role involves working with complex datasets, developing insightful reports, and supporting the decision-making process within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management and Analysis:

- Collect, clean, and manage large datasets from various sources.

- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.

Reporting and Visualization:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Create and automate reports using VBA and Python to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Financial and Market Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and trading activities.

- Support the finance and trading teams with data-driven insights and recommendations.

Technical Support and Development:

- Write and optimize Python code for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.

- Develop custom VBA solutions for process improvements and reporting needs.

Collaboration and Communication:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

- Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 1-2 years of experience in a data analysis role within the finance, capital markets, or trading sectors.

- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of VBA and Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.

- Experience with data management, data cleaning, and data visualization.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner.

Preferred Attributes:

- Experience with financial modeling and statistical analysis.

- Familiarity with SQL and database management.

- Understanding of financial instruments, trading strategies, and market dynamics.

- Relevant certifications in data analysis or finance (e.g., CFA, CFI, Data Science certifications).
