Data Analyst
Role Overview :
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Develop predictive models & targeting strategies to support Marketing efforts
- Performance monitoring of models / scorecards
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Requirements :
- Strong SAS skills - with ability to manipulate large data sets, automate monthly SAS processes and debug SAS code with minimal steer.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
- Strong Excel skills - with ability to work with advanced features relevant to the role
- Good knowledge of SPSS ad R
- Big data and Machine Learning preferred but not required
- Highly numerate / statistical knowledge - able to work with numbers and make error free calculations.
- Communication - effectively communicate detail and technical concepts in plain English to a wide range of audiences.
- Stakeholder management - Interface with various departments effectively to ensure project delivery.
- Innovation - able to design and deliver new management information and analysis that supports and enhances modelling processes.
- Team working - enjoys working in cross functional and virtual teams
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical thought process and aptitude for problem solving
- Experience and Exposure to visualization technologies such as Qlikview/ Spotfire/ Tableau will be an added advantage
Candidate willing to work in a start-up environment and in individual capacity will be preferred
- Experience of 2 to 3 years in similar kind of role
