Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources

- Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns

- Develop and maintain databases and data systems

- Create visualizations and dashboards to present data insights

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs

- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business operations

- Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Generate reports that highlight key insights and provide actionable recommendations

- Ensure data accuracy and integrity

- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and solutions

- Stay updated with industry best practices and evolving data analysis techniques

- Provide support and training to team members on data analysis tools

- Participate in the design and implementation of data collection processes

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and data needs

- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to support data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation

- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas

- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data analysis and manipulation

- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js

- Ability to conduct statistical analysis and generate actionable insights

- Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex data findings

- Experience working with large datasets and databases

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles
