The Role :

Team lead - TM will support the implementation of services, policies, and programs through HR staff. The incumbent will be responsible for driving the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.


The incumbent carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: performance management, employee engagement, Talent partner, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR analytics/Dashboards, HRIS management among other areas.

Key Areas of Responsibility :

Recruitment & Onboarding :

- End to end coordination of interviews & provide regular updates to hiring managers.

- Maintain steady stream of applicant mix through internal & external sources.

- Leverage Dasra's social media presence & build on finding innovative ways to attract applicants through social media, internal referrals, alumni connect.

- Conduct reference checks for selected candidates.

- Maintain applicant tracking system

- Manage the entire offer process and coordinate joining formalities

- Manage the onboarding process, coordinate and manage the induction/orientation for new hires on a regular basis by working with multiple stakeholders.

- Coordinate the buddy program for newhires

- Advertises employee job openings first, internally, and then, externally, in keeping with company recruitment policies. Manages the logistics of the recruiting process.

- Sorts and reviews resumes as they arrive on a daily basis. Manages the flow of paper applications and manages the recruiting email box. Provides the first review of resumes.

- Maintains a filing system that retains qualified applications for one year.

- Prepares paperwork required for new hires and establishes personnel file.

- Vendor management for recruitment support & maintain healthy line of partners.

- Processes vendor payments in line with company guidelines and policies

Performance Management :

- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

- Taking ownership of the performance management process design and management

- Pro-actively lead activities around performance planning and evaluation

- Design and lead progressive initiatives around capacity building of workforce, incl. design, planning and facilitation of thematic training/ workshops.

- Provide communication material and design campaigns around Performance management

- Acting as a pro-active subject matter expert for senior management and other relevant stakeholders

Employee engagement :

- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

- Play the role of a Talent partner for respective Programs.

- Support with crucial insights on team dynamics & interventions as required.

- Maintain cadence of employee check-ins to ensure there is a pulse check of team members.

- Execution of ideas for Dasra day, retreat, other engagement activities

- Managing all employee queries & concerns related to leave, policies, code of conduct

- Participates in planning and implementing various employee engagement initiatives.

Learning and Development :

- Conduct training needs analysis & design learning calendar for the year.

- Tracks participants and training records & effectiveness of the training programs.

- Maintain healthy database of vendors or external trainers & provide customized solutions for training needs of the respective programs & org.

- Creates modules/database for critical areas identified as training needs for the org.

- Enters training records into a database and maintains it.

Additional :

- Assumes other duties as assigned by the TM team and Founder/Partners.

Education and Work Experience :

- Post Graduate in Human Resource

- 6 to 9 years of relevant work experience

Required Skills and Experience :

- Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

- Effective oral and written communication skills.

- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

- Experience in performance management, goal setting, employee engagement and other HR programs.

- Practical experience in designing programmes and training material is an asset.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Skills in database management and dashboards.

- Should be able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.

- Excellent organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work in an ambiguous and fast paced environment.

- Able to multi-task and prioritize while performing a variety of tasks with minimal direction.

- Exposure to hiring through social platform.
