Darcl Logistics - Manager - Business Intelligence & Analytics

Darcl is India's foremost Transportation and logistics company having Pan-India presence and serving its clientele from past 30 years. Identifying the scope and need of IT in this sector we have developed many in-house applications that help in simplifying operations.

- With an aim to provide world class IT enabled applications for the Logistics/Transportation sector we are strengthening our current IT team, for which we have started an IT transformation Project for which we are looking for BI Expert to be based at Gurgaon and the incumbent will be directly reporting to President-IT & Strategy.

Major Responsibilities :

- Work with teams across business functions to understand challenges, and design data driven solutions to optimize and improve performance-Use data to identify gaps and opportunities across business functions.

- Define key trends, KPIs to communicate to the senior management and other functions, Develop robust and accurate processes to communicate the same periodically.

- Model data for dashboards/reporting/statistical purposes, Perform ad-hoc analyses that translate into actionable insights

- Contribute to standardization of the data mining processes/statistical methodologies and building a in-house knowledge base & Engage with BI Vendors/Suppliers as necessary

- Primary responsibility to ensure the quality and integrity of data across the entire spectrum of data collected, analysed and communicated by the team

- Visualize and develop BI solutions (Dashboards, Scorecards, Analytic reports, MIS reports) that show top management clear opportunities for revenue growth based on sales, customer, and industry data

- Visualize and develop BI solutions that help operational teams maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction in day-to-day operations

- Work cross functionally with marketing, customer service, delivery, CRM and finance teams to develop BI reports for key functions

- Manage and grow a team of developers who will build, test, and debug BI solutions that you conceptualize.

- Produce competitive intelligence analysis reports and analysis of key targets

- Work on strategic projects-Debrief internal stakeholders to gather and analyze intelligence.

- Oversee Intel accuracy/quality following standard operating procedures.

- Produce different types of analysis and produce reports of the results for the VC and CXO management.

Technical Skills :

- Should have exp in Business Intelligence, Information Management and Big Data Delivery Management processes, tools.

- Creating the complete set of Service offerings in Analytics & BI segments & socializing these with all the key stakeholders

- Experience in Qlikview, Tableau Technologies

- Deploying solutions in Tableau, Qlikview etc.

- Involved in identifying KPIs

- Act as Subject Matter Expert on Tableau and QlikView

- Worked in Industry leading BI Tools

- Understands data modelling

- Proficient in Excel

- Hands-on expertise in relevant tools - SQL, Business Intelligence (Congnos, BO, Pentaho, Qlikview), Web Analytics (GA, Omniture etc.), Statistical (R, SAS, SPSS etc.)

Ideal Candidates :

- 3-5 Yrs Business Intelligence and Analytics

- Strong experience in MIS and Metrics

- Prior experience in Logistics/Transportation industry is preferred

- Senior Stake holder management.
