Primary Responsibility: To effectively manage the Employee Relations, HR processes, Administration, Occupational Health, Security etc. to contribute to the smooth functioning of the plant.
Operational Responsibility:
- Responsible for ensuring harmonious employee relations at plant
- Ensuring compliance to all people related legal and statutory requirements
- Managing all interactions with the union
- Responsible for ensuring security of man, machine and material at plant
- Responsible for managing leaves, payroll and benefits administration at plant
- Responsible for managing employee welfare activities at the plant
- Responsible for deploying HR processes at the plant
- Responsible for managing recruitment for all positions at plant below a specific level
- Responsible for ensuring adherence at the plant to all HR policies and procedures
- Responsible for providing inputs in developing the manpower plan for the plant
- Responsible for identifying training needs and managing the training requirements
- Responsible for managing the execution of PMS process at site
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of employee engagement in the plant
- Responsible for recommending any customizations/changes required in HR policy as per site requirements
- Responsible for people health and hygiene initiatives
- Responsible for contributing to business HR initiatives
- Responsible for ensuring effective management of administration activities at the plant. This includes facilities management and travel & hospitality.
