Job Description - Pricing Manager

Person will be responsible for managing and optimizing the pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability. They analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to determine optimal price points for the product

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pricing Strategy Development:

- Assist in developing and implementing pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Monitor the performance of pricing strategies and make recommendations for adjustments.

2. Market Analysis:

- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to determine pricing competitiveness.

- Conduct regular benchmarking studies to identify opportunities for price adjustments.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyze cost structures, sales data, and profitability metrics to determine the impact of pricing decisions.

- Prepare detailed reports on pricing trends, revenue impacts, and forecasts.

4. Collaboration with Teams:

- Work closely with sales, marketing, and IT development teams to align pricing with market positioning and promotional campaigns.

5. Price List Management:

- Maintain and update pricing databases, price lists, and discount structures.

- Ensure accurate communication of price changes to internal stakeholders and customers.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, etc.) and data analysis tools.

- Knowledge of pricing software or ERP systems is a plus.

- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
