AGM - Business Finance (Sales: New Vehicle)

Experience : 14-10 Years

Location : Oragadam, Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Controlling :

- Enable Marketing & Sales to achieve overhead cost, volume, market share, and price targets by providing transparency through reporting, early warning signals, and identifying improvement measures.

- Provide ongoing financial analysis and decision support for key domestic and export sales transactions.

- Define and develop financial evaluations for new business models and processes to meet changing business needs.

- Analyze dealer financials, provide insights, and suggest measures for profitability improvement.

- Responsible for evaluating domestic and export truck vehicle pricing and controlling contribution.

Reporting:

- Implement full revenue reporting for domestic and export truck and bus business, including detailed reporting processes.

- Drive demand-based, stakeholder-oriented reporting enhancements while ensuring efficiency, speed, and zero-error reliability.

- Align DICV reporting with the Truck Asia Business Model.

- Track vehicle sales rigorously by models, regions, customers, and dealers.

- Responsible for daily vehicle sales reporting, monthly analysis, and tracking.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

- Ensure that DICV Truck Sales Controlling aligns with Daimler guidelines.

- Define, implement, and continuously monitor all Daimler compliance and internal controls.

Planning:

- Lead the annual, quarterly, and monthly financial planning processes, including operating plans, budgets, reporting, and forecasts.

Training & Motivation:

- Identify training needs for team members and encourage continuous learning and knowledge enhancement.

- Motivate and develop team members through target agreements and performance reviews aligned with the company's vision.

- Ensure internal communication to achieve agreed-upon goals.

- Comply with all company regulations and location-wide guidelines, including safety, environmental protection, and working time regulations.

- Inform and instruct assigned staff on applicable regulations to ensure compliance.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Regularly update and review sales performance with the CEO, CFO, and L3 Sales Controlling for decision-making and reporting.

- Maintain continuous communication with Sales & Marketing leadership to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Finance or Business.

- Bachelor's degree with a postgraduate qualification in MBA, CA, ICWA, or CFA.

Experience:

- Total experience of 10 to 15 years with at least 5 years of Finance and Controlling experience.

- Leadership experience in Vehicle Sales Controlling.

- Special Knowledge & Competencies

Functional Competency:

- Expertise in Finance, Controlling, and Sales/Aftersales/Marketing processes within a manufacturing company.

Technical Competency:

- Experience in building teams, developing processes, and implementing systems.

Behavioral Competency:

- Leadership skills, resource allocation and deployment, decision-making under uncertainty, integrity, and conceptualization.
