Marketing Manager


Job Summary :


- To prepare and execute marketing and brand building strategy and to attain given top line and bottom line targets through development of requisite marketing mix.

- To perform Market research and analysis.

- To Engage Key Mainstream customer through Product Selling Stories, Innovation pipeline and Shopper Engagement/Activations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Target Achievement : To ensure achievement of top line and bottom line targets through providing marketing planning, support and execution.

- Agency Management : To ensuring optimal utilization of resources of Market research agencies, Advertising agencies, Media Agencies.

- Market Research : To identify research needs, evaluate Market Research proposals and to implement and control necessary actions emanating out of research.

- Marketing Analysis : To do both primary and secondary sales analysis. To do Competition / consumer, Media and Profitability tracking.

- Development of Marketing and Brand Strategy : To formulate long term and short term strategy objectives and prepare incremental plans for marketing and brand building and to execute those plans.

- Development of marketing mix elements : To ensure development and implementation of marketing mix elements in line with Business/ Marketing Plans. The elements would include: Communication Strategy (including advertising), Promotional Plan (Consumer Promo, Trade Promo, Merchandising and other visibility initiatives), Media Planning, Packaging, Pricing Decisions, Product Development

Skills and experience:

- Essential: MBA / Equivalent from a Top Ranked Institute

- Strong FMCG Marketing Experience

Essential : 


- Experience working with South Asian Consumer and/or South Asian brands

- Experience working with remote teams leading cross functional tasks across geographies

- Core FMCG Marketing Experience a must with a leading firm in B2C role

- Experience in Sales (Customer facing) role required as the job entails Key Accounts Management for big mainstream customers

- Essential: Managerial Experience

- Desire to work in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous entrepreneurial culture

- Strong drive for results and ability to take calculate risks.

- Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a desire to be part of building something new.

- Able to demonstrate high commercial acumen in previous roles

- Capacity to embrace and create change

- Previous experience of being a part of New Product Launch process

Desirable:


 - Experience of working with / managing Mainstream accounts (Tesco, ASDA, Boots, Morrisons, Carrefour or equivalent in case of International Candidates)

- Experience of working with Ethnic personal care brands

- Experience working with Food brands catering to South Asian Consumer
