The primary responsibility of the Corporate Strategic Marketing Team is to facilitate Cypress's long-term growth strategy and to drive company-wide corporate marketing initiatives. The Corporate Strategic Marketing Team owns Key Central marketing programs and executes the assignments to support the Business Units through research and analysis of the company's markets; competition and product mix; assists with secondary research and makes recommendations on entering new market areas.
Responsibilities consist of:
- Driving corporate marketing initiatives: manage Key Central marketing programs (Whole Product Plan, Customer count growth); drive continuous business process enhancements
- Evaluating new business plans: understand current status of businesses, existing products, evaluate product/market opportunities
- Supporting analysis of Cypress-portfolio of products and businesses to ensure company is focused on the higher priority projects, strategically and financially
- Leading and owning Corporate Strategic Marketing Projects
- Monitoring market trends, publish market analysis reports, track company's progress in niche markets or product technology disciplines
- Actively analyzing and making recommendations for organic & inorganic growth opportunities
The corporate strategic marketing team is composed of experienced professionals from some of the leading business schools in India and abroad. The position will provide the candidate exposure in the corporate business planning and decision making areas - would be an ideal platform for candidates to understand and grow in technology marketing. The team primarily works with the Senior and Executive management based out of California, and might require frequent tele-presence meetings/travel.
Desired Skills:
- B.E./ B.Tech (EE/EC/CS/IT) from Tier-1 Engineering schools and and MBA from IIM/ISB. 5+ yrs of total work experience with 3+ yrs post B-school is desired.
- Experience in Product Marketing/Technical Marketing/Consulting and exposure to semiconductor/electronics industry will be a plus-point.
- Should be energetic and passionate about the role and the industry, and be a structured problem solver.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think out-of-the-box to develop innovative frameworks & methodologies.
- Ability to perform quantitative analysis and summarize analytical data into user-friendly reports translating unstructured data into appropriate recommendations for marketing and sales actions.
