Technical Product Manager - Onboarding (Fintech Primitives)

Fintech Primitives is an API Platform as a Service (PaaS). At Cybrilla, we are building Fintech Primitives as the AWS of wealth management. The APIs handle the domain, regulatory and technical complexity, to enable customers to build unique use cases in a short time. We have had quick adoption across customers, ranging from fintechs to large enterprises. We have observed increased demand for new features via APIs, as well as significant uplift in the usage of our existing APIs across customers. Our customers (both business stakeholders and developers) love us for the pain that we are solving for them.
Role :
- We are looking for a product manager who can help us scale to the next level in our growth phase. As a data product manager on the platform team,
- You will have end to end ownership of the data pipeline and its connectors.
- You will orchestrate the delivery of workflows and optimizations for self-serve reporting by partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders across business, product, engineering and operations.
- You will continuously identify abstractions and third party integrations to empower customers with raw data and multiple pre-calculated reports.
- You will solve complex problems across ingestion, federation and transformation of data.
- You will work towards ensuring that the APIs are simple and easy to consume by product managers, engineers and CTOs.
Responsibilities :
- You shall be responsible for the end to end delivery of reporting and analytics APIs.
A typical day could involve the following :
- Build cases to elaborate on the "what" and "why" of the product
- Migrate, clean and streamline large amounts of data from disparate external sources into a single source of truth
- Abstract data into well defined sets that can be used to generate various reports
- Define and ship pre built descriptive statistics (what happened) and diagnostic statistics (why it happened) via APIs
- Evaluate third party analytics APIs and build use cases for the same
- Handle technical support queries from external developers
- Understand new regulations and upgrade the relevant functional specs of APIs
- Write and review API docs and integration product guides
- Create and track success metrics to measure the effectiveness of product features and quantify business impact
- Prioritize backlogs to make informed trade-offs between new feature development, customizations for specific customers, and internal optimizations
- Build consensus with a broad team of internal cross-functional and external stakeholders, ensuring all viewpoints are accounted for and that solutions meet all necessary requirements
- Collaborate with other internal and external product managers and diverse cross-functional teams to ensure cohesiveness of the overall experience.
- Groom technical stories with developers and validate that features meet expectations through product testing.
Requirements :
Must Haves :
- 2-6 years of experience in software engineering / data engineering / data science
- 1-4 years of hands-on product management / 1+ years of large scale technical project management
Technology enthusiast :
- Data enthusiast and knows how to get the most value out of data.
- Obsessed about continuous product improvement
- Should be well versed in handling project risks and dependencies. Can plan and manage a portfolio of small, medium and large releases.
- Approached product management from a user's vantage point and is motivated by the chance to improve the lives of developers and customers
- Team player who knows everyone's success is interdependent, skilled in the art of leading without authority and building consensus
- Good written and verbal communication skills with strong articulation of customer challenges
- Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into solid action plans
- Enjoy working in a fast paced remote environment
Nice To Haves :
- Experience with third party API integrations in the analytics / reporting domain
- Experience with / knowledge of data engineering / data science
- Experience with / knowledge of microservices
- Experience building and using technical products / tools (e.g. APIs, B2B products)
- Experience in the BFSI domain
