About the Role
Fintech Primitives is an API PaaS for the Indian Wealth Management industry. We are a fast growing tech company in deep partnerships with large financial institutions and fintechs alike.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on, detail oriented and highly motivated individual to Setup & lead the Sales team responsible for driving Customer Acquisition & Engagement for Enterprise customers in Indian Wealth Management. FPs vision is to be the core operating system for the wealth management industry in India. The candidate would need to actively collaborate with other Marketing, Product and Operations teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Set up the Enterprise Sales team for FP
- Develop strategies to sharpen our focus in targeting businesses in focus customer industry verticals
- Lead the existing FP Fintech Sales team to bring about continuous improvement in Sales, Productivity and ROI
- Customer acquisition on both fronts : Fintechs as well as Asset Management companies (Mutual Fund Houses)
- Engage with marquee customers in focus industry verticals to enable and drive partnerships on FP
- Influence Fintechs and other distributors to adopt FP
- Represent the metrics of the sales team at weekly FP review meetings with leadership
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- MBA from a Tier I B-school
- 12 years + of experience in Enterprise SaaS Sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- We respect entrepreneurs. So someone who has founded their own startup - an Ex-Entrepreneur - would be Highly Desirable
- Work experience in Financial Enterprise SaaS Sales
- Prior experience influencing C-level executives
- Previous responsibility for strategic business development, revenue targets and quotas is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of the Financial Enterprise sales in India with prior interactions with Wealth Management companies i.e. Mutual Fund companies, Distributors, Brokers
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced target focused environment
- Experience selling nascent (embryonic/start-up) products/services into new markets is desirable
