Fintech Primitives is an API Platform as a Service (PaaS). At Cybrilla, we are building Fintech Primitives as the AWS of wealth management. The APIs handle the domain, regulatory and technical complexity, to enable customers to build unique use cases in a short time.
Role
As an associate technical product manager with Fintech Primitives, you will engage with key stakeholders across business, product, engineering and operations. You will identify ways to streamline the development process and ship new features. You will write product specifications, partner closely with engineering to refine requirements, manage project execution, and focus on quality of the core services that power our customers.
Responsibilities
You shall be responsible for the end to end delivery of API modules. You will continuously identify abstractions that enable flexible, standardized, scalable integrations. And work towards ensuring that the APIs are simple and easy to consume by engineers, product managers, and CTOs.
A typical day could involve the following -
- Explore the problem area, ask right questions and come up with solution proposals to solve user problems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, the business development team, customers and other partners to deliver the right product to the market.
- Create detailed and implementable specifications, including acceptance criteria for realizing the use cases of customers.
- Work with engineering teams closely to define an action plan to implement solutions through incremental improvements and iterative development.
- Assist engineering teams to break down the deliverables and ensure that features/increments are delivered on time.
- Conceptualize, plan, and author high quality technical and product documentation.
- Act as a product evangelist and provide support and coaching to customers who integrate Fintech Primitives APIs.
Requirements :
Must Haves :
- 2-4 years of software engineering experience in a product company / startup Or core engineering experience in IT services. Ideally, developers who would like to move into product management are welcome!
- Technology enthusiast.
- Experience with / knowledge of Agile methodology of delivery.
- Can plan and manage a portfolio of small, medium and large releases.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.
- Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
- Enjoy working in a fast paced remote environment.
Nice To Haves :
- Experience in roles which involve stakeholder management.
- Experience with third party API integrations.
- Experience with / knowledge of microservices.
- Experience building and using technical products and tools (e.g. APIs, B2B products).
- Experience in the BFSI domain.
