Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Growth Marketing Manager with a proven track record in the media industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales, increasing subscriptions, and enhancing brand recognition, specifically within the context of cybersecurity and media.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Development & Sales in Media:
- Drive new business opportunities and sales, particularly focusing on media-related services in cybersecurity.
- Lead efforts to grow subscription base, utilizing knowledge of media industry trends and practices.
- Build and strengthen relationships with clients and partners in the media and cybersecurity sectors.
2. Growth Marketing with Media Expertise: Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the media landscape, enhancing brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Utilize digital marketing channels effectively to increase web traffic, drive subscriptions, and engage a media-savvy audience. Ensure marketing efforts are aligned with editorial content, leveraging media experience for maximum impact.
3. Revenue Growth & Client Management in Media Sector: o Meet sales and subscription targets, focusing on media and cybersecurity markets.
- Prepare and present reports on sales progress and market trends in the media industry to the management team.
- Offer customized solutions to clients, drawing on media industry experience to meet their unique needs. 4. Market Analysis & Reporting with Media Focus: o Conduct market research specific to cybersecurity in the media industry.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize media- focused growth and engagement. o Provide insights and recommendations based on a deep understanding of the media sector.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or growth marketing, with significant experience in the media industry. Strong understanding of the media landscape, digital marketing, content marketing, and SEO. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
