Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist

Overview:

The Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist in the India office will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a cybersecurity governance framework that aligns with India's regulatory requirements while integrating with global security standards. This role involves enforcing cybersecurity policies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with internal and industry regulations.

Collaboration with IT, legal, and compliance teams will be essential to strengthening security and risk management. The specialist will leverage expertise in risk assessment, incident response coordination, and third-party security evaluations to enhance the firm's resilience.

Responsibilities;

Cybersecurity Governance & Compliance:

- Develop and manage a cybersecurity governance program aligned with India's regulations and global security standards.

- Ensure policies and procedures support business objectives and regulatory compliance.

Risk Management:

- Identify, assess, and manage security risks within the enterprise risk management framework.

- Conduct third-party security assessments and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).

Audit & Incident Response:

- Oversee internal/external audits and vulnerability assessments (VAPT).

- Manage local incident response in coordination with global security teams, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations.

Innovation & Improvement:

- Introduce best practices in cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields.

- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and compliance methodologies.

- Expertise in SEBI CSCRF, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS frameworks.

- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executives, auditors, and regulators.

- Preferred: Experience in financial regulatory compliance and managing examinations.
