This for an upcoming diagnostic chain in Healthcare & Wellness Domain
Ideal Leader will have prior experience Growing the Business in Diagnostic & wellness Domain with atleast 20+ years experience.
Well versed with Business Growth & Expansion Strategy!
DMDSC - mapping of current and desired state
Target segment Role of a leader
CURRENT STATE Largely upper middle + mid to late stage diabetes Immediate focus - better execution of the current model + incremental avenues for growth
DESIRED FUTURE STATE Add Lower middle + early stage diabetes / preventive (might involve getting an affordable or tech led model in place) Translating founders- vision into a business strategy
Designation: CEO / COO - to be decided based on profile of the candidate
Desired characteristics
a. Age profile: 40-55 years
b. Educational qualifications: Post Graduate
c. Professional background:
i. B2C: Retail/ FMCG experience; or
ii. Healthcare:
1. single specialty preferred
2. in case of multi-specialty, should have handled a cluster atleast. Avoid COOs/CEOs of 1 unit
3. open to pharma, we can evaluate fitment as we go
d. Prior organization experience: there are no filters to start with, we will have to test for cultural fit if the person is from an MNC
e. Previous designations: Head of Business/ CEO/ COO/ Group President, reporting into Promoter Group / CEO / Board
f. Stability: Should have long stable stints in prior experience
g. Cultural fit: South Indian preferred; or should have spent significant time working in South India
4. Key Roles & Responsibilities -
a. All functions to report into him/her (Key being operations, marketing, quality, HR, supply chain, finance etc)
b. Doctor management to rest with the promoter group
c. Clinical part of delivery (whether through dieticians / nurses etc) will remain with the promoter group. Administrative role will rest with the business head.
d. Key deliverables
i. Entire P&L responsibility (Driving revenues, cost optimization)
ii. Implementing models for market penetration, where already present
iii. New centre expansion
iv. Organisation development
