In This Role, You Will:
Cvents HR team is looking to hire Manager/ Assistant Manager, Global Compensation to lead the global compensation function, responsible for strategic and financial oversight of all strategic direction and driving of execution of core compensation strategies across the organization.
This person will ensure that strategies, plans, and operating processes areexecuted in a timely, scalable, efficient, high quality and repeatable manner. Were looking for someone with a strong background in broad-based and equity-based compensation, who is passionate about analysis, program design, and teamwork. We are also looking for someonewith exceptionally strong process and systems orientation.
What You Will Be Doing?
- Design, create, administer, and maintain divisional and company-wide competitive, cost-effective, and internally equitable compensation programs to include base pay administration, incentive plans, bonus plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and overall organizational goals and strategies.
- Oversee team in managing compensation-related projects, compensation structure reviews and updates; market pricing analysis; job classification analysis; merit planning; bonus planning; creation of new incentive plans; updating and evaluating existing incentive plans; and integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Assure internal equity and external competitiveness of the organizations compensation programs through strategic monitoring of business conditions, legal requirements and understanding of industry best practices.
- Provide operational analysis, reporting and trends related to commissions and compensation plans.
- Advise management and executives on compensation related issues and planning for team members.
- Research and analyze data to prepare employee compensation reports for management.
- Create and maintain procedural documents to describe operational processes.
- Make continuous process improvements to seek further efficiencies.
- Oversee Cvents long-term incentive and equity programs.
- Coach and develop Compensation team members to expand skills and increase effectiveness.
Here's What You Need:
What You Will Need for this Position?
- A minimum of 10+ years progressively responsible business/HR experience, with majority in compensation roles
- 5+ years as a people manager effectively influencing.
- Experience in global companies with both corporate compensation and sales compensation programs
- Superior interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present information in a concise and meaningful manner to managers and senior leaders.
- Experience working in a global environment on compensation and related issues strongly preferred.
- Ability to lead and influence across multiple levels of an organization on key compensation topics.
- Strong analytical rigor with the ability to effectively analyze data and create clear and comprehensive reports and recommendations.
- Exceptional time management skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments and meetdeadlines.
- Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills, with a focus on attention to detail anddelivering of high-quality results.
- Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty and rapidly evolving landscape
- Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Workday and Salesforce.com experience desired.
- A systems thinker with a process orientation
- Must be a proactive, possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a self-driven learner.
