In This Role, You Will:
- Work directly with Team's Director to help execute on a strategic corporate event strategy.
- Manage the team's bandwidth and KPI efficiency reports.
- Keep project and timeline plans up to date and manage all team's tasks to successful completion.
- Collaborate and report on strategic projects related to major company initiatives, events and goals
- Work with strategic counterparts across the region and product focused marketing organization to ensure timely delivery of reports, updates to management and disseminating data to internal teams.
- Assist in events, projections, road mapping and for analyzing attendance, cost and ROI events across region.
- Negotiate to gain noticeable vendor savings through contract negotiations - all within strict budgetary parameters, tracking financial benefits.
- Identify opportunities for team efficiencies and process streamlining and automating
- Cvent is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager of Meeting & Event Operations to help support Cvents events program.
- This strategic position requires the ability to work on several projects at one time and be data driven & results-oriented.
- The candidate must be a detailed oriented person with strong time management skills, forward-thinking, and able to creatively solve problems in a constantly changing environment.
- This person must apply sound judgment in strategy meetings with management when dealing with new initiatives, budget discussions, and company events roadmaps.
- This position will partner closely with marketing and sales to ensure every event is handled professionally with flawless execution. In addition, a successful candidate will have experience negotiating with internal and external groups, ability to propose new and creative ideas, highly effective communication skills, and ability to build constructive and effective relationships.
Here's What You Need:
- 10-12 years of event planning & marketing & team/people management experience is required
- Attention to detail, deadline focus and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
- Experience in handling/supervising a team
- Experience working directly with Senior Leadership
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Expert in budgeting, analytical and financial analysis
- Prior experience & ability to work with a cross-functional & Global team
- Strong computer knowledge of MS Office suite & must be an expert in Excel
- Experience in Event Tech and Management tools
- Salesforce and other Marketing Technology knowledge is a plus
