Assistant Manager/Manager - Field Marketing


About the role:

We are looking for a Assistant Manager/Manager- Field Marketing who fits in with our fun, fast-paced culture and has the skills to contribute to Cvent's long-term growth. You will be based in Cvent India's Gurgaon office, and you would be reporting to the APAC Regional marketing leadership. You would be responsible for executing the marketing plan for Cvent Event Cloud solutions. This will include demand generation planning and execution, agency liaison, partnership benefits coordination and sales enablement. You are expected to be an expert on the local market, competition, target persona, their pain points, and how our solutions address those pain points, as well as the buyers journey and sales process.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Define a region-specific marketing plan that supports the regional sales strategy.

- Create & manage the demand generation plan with a mix email marketing, digital, social, events, webinars etc.

- Own the campaign process (plan, create, launch, manage) for prospects & customers to drive lead generation for Middle East, India and Africa market and generate pipeline against bookings goal.

- Work with sales and sales management to understand the challenges faced in the Event management software selling process and develop programs and tools to drive growth.

- Work with marketing and sales management to improve mid funnel conversion.

- Work with marketing shared services teams to execute associated marketing programs and campaigns.

- Develop and manage partner and alliance marketing activities.

- Identify market opportunities, articulate competitive differentiation, and deeply understand target segments to evolve and help execute the marketing plan.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create market specific collateral, presentations, sales enablement assets.

- Analyze, benchmark, and report on campaigns and marketing tactics, including monthly and quarterly reviews.

What You Will Need for this Position:

- MBA degree from a reputed B-school.

- 6+ years of marketing experience with software, SaaS-based, or technology products in the B2B space. Work with marketing and sales management to improve mid funnel conversion.

- Experience in delivering, accelerating, and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing programs.

- Sound knowledge of content & digital marketing techniques for inbound marketing.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills to collaborate with sales, and other marketing teams.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.

- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

- Experience with marketing automation, CRM (Salesforce), and other tools, such as Marketo, Clarizen preferred.
