Cvent - Assistant Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Revenue & Projects

About the Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Financial Planning and Analysis division at Cvent. The Assistant Manager will work on US GAAP revenue budgeting and forecasting for assigned products from Cvent Platform and perform other analysis including but not limited to variance analysis, monthly reforecasts, management reports, and ad-hoc projects. The successful candidate will manage a team of 3-4 Analysts/Sr. Analysts and work closely with colleagues in Accounting, Bookings, and Quote to Cash teams. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving automation efforts to improve efficiencies within the FP&A processes and represent FP&A in the project discussions.

What You Will Be Doing?

- Responsible for US GAAP Revenue Budgeting and forecasting.

- Understand, calculate, and publish various scheduled Business Metrics like NDRR, Revenue by Country etc. as per defined processes. These metrics are used for SEC filing and by Senior Management.

- Provide information to management by collating and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Responsible for Cash Forecasting.

- Managing & reporting Annual Recurring Revenue Support strategic plans by providing relevant financial analytics and business insights to key stakeholders.

- Responsible for team management activities including performance evaluation and management, hiring, feedback, mentoring and training.

- Drive process efficiencies through automation and technology using more efficient methods of creation and delivery, anticipating needs of internal customers.

- Generate reports from Salesforce CRM and Adaptive Insights data analysis tools. Responsible for sales commissions reporting.

- Work on ad-hoc projects ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

What You Need for this Position?

- MBA/CA/CIMA/CFA/ Graduate (Science or Commerce from a reputable college).

- 7 - 10 Years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis/Accounting/Financial Reporting function of a multinational company.

- 2-3 Years of people management experience.

- Working knowledge of SQL coding

- Detailed working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

- Strong analytical and logical ability. - Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented and has the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing, entrepreneurial environment.

- Displays attention to detail, is deadline focused and has the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks at once.

- Positive attitude and out-of-the-box thinking.
